Spriggs: a Halo 3 Machinima

The end is finally near…  Just figured you’d want to know.

On other notes, it’s sort of odd… as we’ve gotten closer and closer we’ve been hit with unexpected bouts of GOOD NEWS.  Nothing bad save for Alex getting sent out of town on another job, but even that was more of a break than bad.

So, as it stands, After Episode 14, the schedule should be as follows:

With most of the video shot, and only one very special set of scenes to record, we’re now starting to see the episode come together.  This next week will see exactly how long it goes, but I wanted to inform everyone of two things.

One:  “The Aliens Invade Otakon” is out.  And yes, they were running around the convention singing and saying exactly what you hear…

Secondly, we will have another video out in the next couple of days.  I’m sure everyone will find it… interesting.

One recording session down, another to go, we should be done with the video by Friday.  Which means I’m expecting to have this one done fairly quickly, since I’ve plotted out my scenes and angles ahead of time.  Which means Spriggs episode 14 should be complete pretty soon.

Before that however we have one, maybe two videos to post in the next couple days.  The first is a record of the alien invasion of Otakon circa 2008 starting everyone’s favorite alien trio, which has also been our first chance to stretch some of our newer production muscles.  This will be out on Thursday.

The second?  Well, let’s just say that’s going to be a surprise…

Okay, at long last my Adobe Masters collection finally arrived, in it’s overly expensive glory.

Which means that at long last I have a version of Adobe that actually supports running on Vista and Windows 7.  Which means it will run on the newer machine.

That, and it’s EVERYTHING!

That aside, let me provide some updates:

Episode 14 audio is done.

The Video is planned and to be recorded on Monday or Tuesday.

Wednesday I will process it, hopefully with a new process, directly recording it to hard drive in High Definition.  What then?

The answer is, I don’t know. We’re recording and processing this episode using a new technique, so I don’t know.  Hopefully it will be faster, but it might not.  At the very least it will be better organized, as our last recording session of episode 13 proved, but this is our first complete episode done this way…

Well, anyhow, wish us luck.  More pictures from Con will be up tomorrow, as well as potentially some details on what we’re doing next.
