Wow. That's a big number.

At some point, I took over as the dedicated number cruncher. I'm not entirely certain, maybe it was because I already have a compulsive habit of checking email and certain websites. Or maybe it was in the interest of keeping Mike on track with more productive project work.

It seems like every time I go and quote some number as an indicator of how well the project is being received, another number comes along a day or two later that renders that number totally insignificant. Right now, the first episode has been viewed over 200,000 times. So we must be doing something right.

I can't help but feel a little bit disappointed that people are so insistant on comparing us, both positively and negatively, to Red vs. Blue. Mike and I both enjoyed Red vs. Blue, and we can't deny that it has had an impact on our production. But we're not trying to replicate or reproduce it. We simply want to play in the same sandbox. And I just want to say that it's been a lot of fun, and I encourage anyone out there to give it a try.

If I could make one request of the viewers out there, it's that they give us the benefit of the doubt that we're working off our own creative energies, not someone else's. Before jumping to conclusions, give us the time to put out a few episodes, develop our plot, and introduce the rest of our cast. I can assure you that we have a bunch of things in works to differentiate ourselves from Red vs. Blue, many of which I'm very excited to get rolling.

I've been wondering how you guy's lower the weapons on your characters. In RvB it looked like they just looked at the ground and the characters automatically posed that way, but I'm not sure. I'd like to know just because it's neat looking.
