When Mike first came to me with the idea of making a machinima, I thought it was a moment of impulsiveness that wouldn't really culminate in anything substantial. That's just the nature of creativity. Ideas come and go, with some being fleshed out more than others, but most simply slip into the cracks never to see the light of day. But as things progressed, I knew the production of Spriggs was going somewhere. When we put the last few tweaks on the final edit of the first episode, I was confident that the episode would be well received. However, I didn't expect it to be this well received. A week later, and our first episode has generated over 20,000 views across several video hosting venues. We can't be certain of how many unique individuals that represents, all we can be certain of is the success that we're seeing. And judging by some of the feedback and comments we've received thus far, you like what you've seen.

We were hoping for a more gradual build, so we're excitedly scrambling to get our second episode finished for next friday. We've got a little more voice recording to do, which we expect to wrap up tomorrow. The site also needs some work, and will hopefully be a bit more substantial by the time we release our second episode. We apologize for its bareness, but let's be honest, the episodes are what's most important, and we don't intend to delay production on account of a gimpy website.
